Michael Card

Michael Card is one of my favorite artists of all time. His lyrics have spoken to me time after time.

Here is his song, Never Will I Leave You.

Trust in Me,
Keep your life free,
From what the love of money will do
Am I not enough for you?

(Chorus)
Never will I leave you,
That's something I'll never do.
Forever remember that it's true,
Never will I leave you.

When you fear,
The scars and tears.
Remember what I have sworn,
I'll be with you through the storm.

(Chorus)

And when you fear,
That's when I'm near.
Your soul's security,
When will you believe?

(Chorus)

I've got two or three Michael Card tapes around here. Good stuff. His lyrics often speak of the love and grace of God, and His overall characteristics.

Thanks for introducing him to me. I will check out the iTunes store for his music. This one brought tears to my eyes as I prepare for Not of My Making's blog tour. Jesus was the life raft I clung to when I was shunned and abandoned.

Joel, I think that is why I've always liked him and didn't even understand why - he understands Grace.

Margaret, thanks for visiting. I enjoyed reading your book, and I look forward to speaking with you.
