Hey John, That was a good read!
I think one of the biggest hindrance to creativity is fear - usually fear of failure. (The author pointed out it as the 4th point)
Once we get hold of the fact that it is okay to make mistakes, I think we become more creative.
A self -focused, prideful, self-righteous person is going to be always fearful.
In my mind, I think grace motivates freedom and creativity (in all areas of life).
I agree Bino. We are afraid to put ourselves "out there" because we believe we might look stupid.
When I was in elementary school, I actually had some painting talent, but wasn't allowed to pursue it in a structured environment.
I would like to be a better writer. That's why I love Tozer so much, he's probably one of the best modern Christian writers.
I am going to post Tozer "On Writing".
Peace
